Mr Natesh completed his medical degree in India and started his ENT and Head & Neck Surgical training in India. He had higher surgical training in ENT surgery at recognised centres of excellence in the South East of England and at London hospitals. He gained wide experience in all aspects of general adult and paediatric ear, nose and throat conditions, including airway disorders and the management of tracheal stenosis.
Mr Natesh had further training in an advanced Head and Neck cancer centre at Cambridge Addenbrooke’s University Hospitals and also completed one year Internationally recognised Fellowship in Advanced Head & Neck cancer surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London before taking Consultant job at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Warwick Medical School.
He offers a complete range of adult and paediatric general and specialist ENT care. His specialist interests include the management and surgical treatment of all aspects of benign and malignant head and neck conditions including thyroid/parathyroid, salivary glands and larynx. He has over 20 years of experience in the management of ENT conditions.
He has developed a special interest in minimally invasive thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland surgeries and has experience of performing over 100 high volume and complex surgeries each year. He performs thyroid and parathyroid surgeries using small incisions with minimal morbities after major surgeries.
He is a core member of the UHCW Head Neck and Thyroid/Parathyroid Multi-Disciplinary Teams and offers expert advice on management of complex Head & Neck/Thyroid and parathyroid pathologies. He has established Upper Airway disorder Multi-Disciplinary Team Service at UHCW and managing patients who present with difficulty breathing due to airway conditionss.
He is actively involved in research activities in Head & Neck, thyroid surgery and sleep apnoea management and presented his work at various National and International meetings. He has published a number of research articles in various high-impact-factor journals and his work has been acknowledged by various authors around the world.
He is on the faculty of meeting at various national and international ENT meetings & Head and Neck surgical training courses in UK and abroad. He is an accredited trainer for ENT/Head & Neck surgical trainees in the West Midland training programme and also works as faculty at Warwick Medical School where he mentors and trains medical students
Mr Natesh is a course director for West Midlands Head & Neck and Free Flap cadaver dissection course, which helps in training junior surgeons across the UK and abroad to learn complex ENT and Head and Neck surgical techniques along with reconstruction.
